Glass has been used for centuries for making jewellery. Artists have learnt to create stunning effects through the colour and form of the glass. Now it is possible to produce even more entrancing items as new materials developments become available to the artist. Effects that were only possible through expensive opals are now used by Helix Glass to produce a range of stunning jewellery.
All Helix Glass jewellery is hand crafted kiln-fired at its studion in Berkshire. Helix designs and produces a wide range of original items of jewellery by layering dichroic glass, layers of colour,adding pattern and texture to create magical effects.

Photographs cannot capture the full iridescent qualities of the dichroic effect – the colour shimmers in the light and has subtle changes of colour from differing angles.
